The Analyst Experience
The Market Analyst position at The Martec Group is our entry-level research staff position, yet is characterized by a high level of responsibility. Analysts play an integral role from the beginning to end of projects.
New Analysts typically are prepared to start on projects within the first few weeks. While Analysts are “in-training” for the first three months of employment, project team managers are sure to provide extra attention to a trainee’s needs during that time.

The research staff career path is made up of six classifications: Market Analyst, Sr. Market Analyst, Project Consultant, Project Manager, Director and Partner. As Analysts progress through their career, their core function shifts from field research and data collection ultimately to client management and business development. The following table further details role definitions at each stage of the career path at Martec.
Market Analysts gain valuable skills during their career experience with Martec. Analysts attain a great deal of knowledge about industries, technologies and our clients’ businesses. Analysts also learn about processes/operations and business strategy. Promotion is based upon an Analyst’s development in the areas of project contribution and problem-solving skills.
