Where We Do Business

With the rapid integration of the global economy, our clients continue to look beyond domestic or regional borders in order to realize revenue and earnings growth. To help identify, quantify and evaluate global market opportunities, The Martec Group has developed a worldwide network of wholly-owned offices and strategic partnerships.

Each Martec office is strategically located to best investigate the major world markets. In areas of the world where a full-time presence is not required, Martec has established strategic partnerships with well-respected research firms.

Martec firmly believes that the best research can only be conducted in the native language of the respondents. As a result, projects are staffed as required with cross-office teams to take full advantage of our industry expertise, broad geographic representation and language capabilities.

More than 40 percent of the projects completed by Martec involve an international component.

North America

With offices in Chicago and Detroit and a call center in Green Bay, Martec is well-positioned to serve its North American client base efficiently and responsively.

Europe

Europe is a region characterized by diverse market structures and cultures. From its Frankfurt, Germany base, The Martec Group not only understands how these differences affect how research is conducted but, more importantly, how business is conducted.

In addition to an office dedicated to qualitative research, analysis and project management, Martec GmbH also operates its own focus group facility and call center to conduct quantitative studies throughout Europe. Martec's Frankfurt offices are staffed with native speakers of German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch…as well as the languages of the new Eastern Europe EU member states and Russia.

This structure has allowed us to conduct research in every Western European and Scandinavian country, as well as in most Eastern European, Russian Federation and Baltic countries.

Asia

The Asia Pacific Region represents a vast and growing opportunity for our clients. Obviously, China is especially important during this time of rapid economic expansion and establishment as a major force. The Martec Group is well-positioned to help our clients avoid risk, assess competitive threats and exploit opportunities in this region. Spanning from the Indian subcontinent to Oceania, our presence in China significantly enhances our ability to tap potential growth opportunities for our global client base.

Our Shanghai office is staffed by native speakers of Chinese, English, Korean and Thai, allowing us to do the great majority of our fieldwork in-house throughout Asia Pacific. The Shanghai office has strong industry expertise and comprehensive network in the areas such as chemicals and energy, transportation, healthcare and industrial equipment. This office serves as the primary interface with multinational clients. The Shanghai office also provides strategic management consulting service to local clients.  The Shanghai office also provides due diligence, valuation, deal sourcing and other M&A advisory services to private equity / venture capital clients and hedge fund investing in Chinese company. Sophisticated, discreet and professional, Martec Shanghai is well positioned to help our clients sieze China investment opportunity.

Along with our in-house primary research capabilities, the Beijing office gives our clients access to strong relationships with a network of government agencies that control market data key to developing sound domestic business strategies.

Martec also maintains strong working relationships with the Tokyo office that we established in 1993 (now operated by the local partner) and other affiliate research firms and industry specialists in each country in the region, allowing us to respond to the needs of our value-conscious clients with speed and flexibility.

Latin & South America

Research in Mexico is typically conducted using Spanish-speaking members of Martec's U.S. and European offices or with the assistance of native translators. For more than 15 years, our affiliate has been managing and conducting research with Martec throughout South and Latin America.
