Robert D. Allerton

Robert D. Allerton is a Director based in The Martec Group’s Detroit office. Mr. Allerton oversees The Martec Group's extensive automotive and commercial vehicle research operations. Mr. Allerton has more than 15 years of experience in technical and strategic market-based consulting. The bulk of this experience involves bridging technology and market-based initiatives for clients. Mr. Allerton has a technical background in powertrain, EMS, fuel systems, emissions and various body/chassis systems in the global automotive industry. 

Mr. Allerton received Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Production Management from Wayne State University. He is married with three children.
