While cancelling recent and upcoming market research and insights events made perfect sense, we know the need for the knowledge and networking that occurs at these annual get-togethers is absolutely priceless to market leaders. To support/help our team and our collective sphere of influence (clients, partners, prospects, etc.) we did what researchers do…conducted an analysis of the data and formulated an action plan based on the need for curated, summarized, and accessible trends, education, and tools.

Specifically, we looked at the multitude (over 200!) of presentations and speakers that we would have encountered at three of the largest market research and insights-oriented events: Quirks, IIeX and X4. Our team coded each presentation and arrived at the following core topics that the industry had planning to discuss at these premier events (listed alphabetically):

Artificial Intelligence – beyond the hype! new and emerging AI-driven technologies/tools as well as augmented intelligence (humans and machines) techniques
Customer Experience – intersecting and complementary methodologies and tools: by far the most common topic across all shows, includes CX, EX and UX
Innovation & Disruption - primarily focused on spotting disruptive trends (very timely!)
Enhanced Qualitative - topics such as better listening, conversational approaches, hybrid methodologies, "reality voice" (aka "true voice")
Proactive Insights & Predictive Forecasting - using data/insights to anticipate and foretell behavior etc.
Storytelling - how to do it and do it well

Savvy research leaders like you are seeking knowledge and content around these topics we felt it would be valuable to aggregate “Best of” collections for each topic and share these lists with our global partners, clients and colleagues. Over the next several weeks we’ll be sharing these “Best of” lists addressing each of these topics from several vantage points:

- Links to existing content (presentations, webinars, etc.) that we believe represent the latest thinking and most innovative ideas to digest on these topics
- Identify thought leaders, particularly folks that you might have seen had you attended these events
- Adjacent topics to consider – for example, the intersection of Enhanced Qual techniques with Storytelling
